Boris and Fin Bheara, the best dog ever!
Boris and Dr. Ian Dunbar
For many years I worked in Corporate America, traveling the world as an engineering troubleshooter, solving problems, and easing the stressful lives of business people and their employees.
During that time, I shared my life with dogs. They were my troubleshooters, easing my stress filled life. For over 20-years I trained dogs of varying sizes and temperaments. At first, I trained my own dogs, then my friends' dogs, then friends of friends began to call me asking for help with their companions. Word began to spread and I decided it was time to change my life and vocation.
I left the corporate world, went back to school, and graduated as a Certified Master Dog Trainer from Anthony Jerone's School of Dog Training and Career, Inc., the only school of its kind, programmed and licensed by the New York State Education Department. I am a full member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), and I am continually studying and learning about dogs and their training.
When it comes to dog training , I use the same calm and assertive energy that I had once used as an engineering troubleshooter. I set a goal, and consistently work to achieve it. I believe our dogs need to be taught rules and behaviors that we both, humans and dogs, can live with happily. The lives of our beloved companions will be better fulfilled when we provide them with what they need: plenty of healthy exercise, strong and fair leadership, fun activities, and tons of affection.
